As I’ve grown older I’ve come to realize that alcoholism is a disease. However, the fact that alcoholism is a disease does nothing to help all the young children that are abused on a daily basis by alcoholic parents. Let’s pray they get the help they desperately need.

That’s all drugs and alcohol do, they cut off your emotions in the end.

Alcohol, tobacco, and pharmaceutical drugs are legal, but they can hurt a lot of people.

Herb is the healing of a nation, alcohol is the destruction.

Dear father, your worse than you know, it’s not monsters that scare me, it’s you, and you confuse me, in so many levels, that I can’t even tell you how I feel and it makes me mad, because nothing makes me sadder than you.

I’m not sure I could express what this means to me.

I realized it’s not just black and white, there is ALOT of gray area when it comes to alcoholism.

I wonder what it would be like to mean more to my father than alcohol does.

Move on. For so long, I kept hoping my dad would do this or that and I kept getting very disappointed. Almost to the point I was in a very dark, depressive place in my life. I had to l let go of him and realize his choices are his own. It’s not easy but I’m no longer in that games of him.
